Funny thing is I just like the tune I never actually knew what the lyrics were before I looked them up just now....turns out it's a very romantic song LOL ;)

Exotic Sounds of the East-Orient

Lately I find myself drawn to exotic sounds...in particular traditional oriental music utilising traditional instruments...such as that of The Guo Brothers- off their awesome 1990 album YUAN. I think it makes for more "awake" study music compared to the usual European classical baroque...a nice refreshing change anyway...

How gorgeous is this song! I find it particularly pretty in these wee hours of the night - a bit like an exotic African lullaby :)

The clip is a tribute to women...March 8 is International Women's Day :)...sorry my timing is a bit off...LOL

Anyhow I digress, please enjoy...one of my favourite world musicians...who is an absolute delight to catch performing live...unfortunately we aren't that lucky this side of the hemisphere to get to see her very often!

I don't know why suddenly I am in love with this song...the combination of notes particularly at the beginning just hit all the right buttons...



You also can't get past these lyrics LOL... typical Morrissey honesty and realistic cynicism ;)

the shitty friend experience...a universal affliction especially when you're a giver, which is probably why I am now so selective about mine since in older age the less I can be bothered investing...
